Berlin, often known as the Mecca for Gay BDSM and Leather. Most of the bars and clubs are focused around Motzstrasse (by Uban Nollendorfplatz). It is a very liberal area and it is very usual to see people wearing leather and fetish anytime during the day (including myself).

Qualgiest
If you are into the Master/slave Lifestyle or are more seriously inclined into BDSM this is the place to head to. Make sure to check out the website as they do different nights (including polysexual) as well as closed weekends – as it is now located at the end of an Uban line – so you want to make sure there is something on you want to go to before heading there.
gay-BDSM Club
Run by a good friend of mine and a subject of two podcast interviews. Gay-BDSM Club runs some really good events including a gay bondage night. But my favourite night is the Tea Party or Die Teegesellschaft where BDSM mixes with cabaret shows and interviews.
Woof
My favourite bar around the Motzrasse area. Always friendly and welcoming. Great place to go to.
Cigar Lounge
The first Friday of every month at the Pussy Cat Lounge. A nice night with men and cigars and their admirers.
Romeo and Romeo
A nice cafe to cruise, watch, drink and work – thoroughly recommend.
What else is there?
- Scheune: One of the original fetish bars – I have not used it much for no real reason – so cannot comment But have enjoyed myself there the last view times I went.
- Prinzknecht: Good bar to meet up with people early evening. During big events such as Folsom it is one of the main hangouts. I have always found the staff a little unwelcoming – so come for the other people
- Mutschmanns: The old bar was a mix of vanilla and fetish. I do not know much about the new place though.
- New Action: My local bar! Busiest Thursday-Saturday – with a good mix of people
- Lab: A Fetish club that caters for every fetish including scat – check out the website for more information to find the night for you.
- Leather Social: Held the 3rd Sunday of every month from 5-11pm – really nice night with a focus on socialising rather than cruising
- Fetish Social – Help the 1st Sunday of every month – with a focus on social than cruising – check out the website for more information.
- https://www.boese-buben-berlin.de/spenden.html – Another club like Qualgeist – more focussed on impact play.
In non COVID times the most popular bar changes every night to the bar which has a 2:1 offer. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday: Scheune
- Tuesday: Woof
- Wednesday: Prinzknecht and then Mutschmanns
- Thursday: New Action
- Friday: Lab
During COVID the 2:1 offer was stopped but I know that Woof at least has reintroduced the 2:1 rule so this might be the case for other events as well. During large events such as Easter Berlin or Folsom the 2:1 rule does not apply for the weeks on either side of the event.
Berlin Playspaces
There are a number of play spaces that you can rent in Berlin for a night or more. This can have a normal sleeping space, but also can be kitted out as a full-on play space dungeon.

SM Apartments – the only playspace in Berlin I have used multiple times. Thoroughly recommend,

Incredible good quality leather of clothes and other leather devices, You can also have custom made leather – I got my leather braces custom made from here and the staff were really helpful and thoughtful

Other shops
- Connection: Nice shop with some good clothes. I also buy my room oderiser here
- Rob Berlin: New to the Berlin scene with a great selection along with clothes that cross the fetish/mainstream boundary
- Gear Berlin: Another really good and large shop with friendly staff selling Leather, Rubber and sex toys, sport wear and trainers
- Butcherei: Expensive and custom made fetish leather and rubber – expensive, but you are getting he best. Also will do fixes and alterations.
- R&Co. – Great shop selling a mixture of fetish gear
- Mister B – Nice collection of leather and other fetish wear. I find it is made for the smaller European size rather than for people with large builds. The really nice t-shirts fit though!
- Titanen piercings – Piercing shop – very professional – I had all my recent pressings from here and really recommend.
- Boxer: Really nice fetish shop with leather, sports wear, some rubber as well as T-Shirts.
- BlackStyle: A huge Rubber Shop in Berlin
