How do I coach?
Depending on the Master’s and slaves’ preferences and how the family is run, I can coach in different ways. Sometimes, it is to coach a Master/slave couple together. For others, it might be just to the Master or slave.
Where is the relationship now?
I use several models I have created to help people figure out where their relationship or family currently is and where they want to go. And then, through powerful questions, help people figure out what changes they want to make.
Focus on the Master
In other setups, I focus on the Master, who is in control and in charge of the family. I work with him to see how he wants to change and adapt to the family.
Occasionally, it might be the Master Himself that might be blocked, so we look at why and what tactics the Master wants to use to unblock himself. In doing so, this unblocks the slave or the rest of the family.
How to communicate
Master/slave relationships require good communication to be successful. Often, when there is an issue, it can be around communication.
This can manifest as a Master or slave embarrassed to share their needs. Or one of the parties stopping to fulfil the other’s needs due to a lack of communication.
I help identify the blocker and, using some of my models, help Masters and slaves find ways they can easily communicate again.
